Calling All Interested Vendors!
The Clatskanie Farmers Market planning season is upon us.
Veterans of previous seasons are beginning to refine their maker goods, eye their gardening implements, dog-ear their seed catalogues, and scribble out grandiose plans for their market galleries and spring gardens. They know the rewarding hard work of the summer market season never really ends. It continues through the winter and into the spring. Market vendors live for this opportunity; we would have it no other way. If this sparks your imagination, you may be one of us.
While we all continue to experience uncertainty regarding COVID-19, the Market will open this year. Saturday June 5th is the day. Cope’s Park will again host our relentless efforts to bring to the community fresh vegetables, wildly imaginative arts and crafts and the best of maker goods. Cope’s has proven to be safe and comfortable in these COVID times. Wanda, our market manager, knows the drill and will effortlessly guide us through what we fully expect will be another successful year.
You will find that our Market family is full of welcome and fun to work with. Market day is one of those exquisite times in the life of a community when folks come together to celebrate their good fortune, hard work and abundance with good cheer.
There really is no better place to be on summer Saturdays. Come join us.

3/6/21: Applications are now being accepted! Market season 2021 will be Saturdays from 10am-2pm June – September in Cope’s Park. The Market Board continues to monitor county and state level COVID-19 developments as we make preparations for the upcoming Market season. Locally sourced food and goods are more pertinent than ever, as is maintaining the sense of community that the Market has strived to establish over the last seven years. Welcome to our 8th season!
The Board continues to derive their operational planning steps from the county and state guidelines, as well the Oregon Farmers Markets Association (OFMA) and the Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA). Thank you for remaining flexible as the ongoing pandemic requires the ability of all to pivot quickly.
To accommodate all of our vendors and shoppers safely, we have decided to remain in Cope’s Park for our 8th season, though we are discontinuing to offer the online ordering/prepay/drive-by pick-up option.
The Board will present our 2021 Operational Plan and Safety Protocols as the opening day of the season draws nearer.
The 2021 annual vendor orientation information will be published soon. The annual vendor orientation is a requirement for acceptance into the market.
