Just in: face-covering required in the Market

Greetings, Clatskanie Farmers Markets Customers! This COVID situation is really keeping us on our toes! We need to announce the new requirement to wear face-coverings when shopping at our market. This week, Governor Brown issued a new mandate for wearing face-coverings while indoors as well as outdoors. Rising rates of COVID-19 in Oregon have sounded the alarm for greater precautions in order to avoid the serious spike in cases seen in many other states.
Beginning July 15th, and until further notice, face-coverings are required in outdoor spaces where 6′ social distancing cannot be maintained. While we work hard to manage traffic flow and the lines at booths around the market, there are certainly times when that 6 foot social distance cannot be maintained.
Along with guidance from OFMA and the ODA, we are asking all customers to wear a face-covering while in the market.
Don’t forget to stop by the information booth and use hand sanitizer as you enter (and say “Hi!” to our market manager, Wanda!) Also, thank you all for respecting the reminders from Tammy, our Social Distancing Officer (a staff position required by the ODA) about keeping your distance while waiting in line or visiting with friends.
Hang in there! We’ll get through this together!
