And just like that, the month of June is under our belt! This Saturday marks the beginning of the Annual Clatskanie Heritage Days – a week-long celebration of our Nation’s Independence with a community that comes together to showcase their rich traditions with fun for the whole family! Are you ready? Take a gander at the Clatskanie Cruisers Car Show & Shine and then head on over the river to the Farmers Market!

Can you believe we are 4 weeks into the 6^th season already? And even though the local produce is slow to grow this season, we have had some wonderful new and returning arts & crafts vendors – come check them out! And… surely you know that it is now officially summer… so we can look forward to abundant produce soon! While we patiently await those ripe tomatoes, crisp cucumbers and zesty garlic cloves, we can enjoy an abundance of freshly baked goods, spring greens, root vegetables, peas, and even specially sized packages for the kiddos to spend their Power of Produce tokens on!

We’ll hope to see YOU… at the Coolest Little Market in Oregon this Saturday – 10am-2pm.

That’s right! Bring your DAD (or any special father figure in your life!) down to the farmers market on Saturday! Take them to lunch at the food cart, find a special gift from one of our talented crafters, let them pick out their favorite candy or sweet treat, pick up some delightfully fresh, homemade bread for a Father’s Day morning French toast breakfast, or simply enjoy a stroll by the river in the beautiful Cope’s Park! We had a wonderful opening day for our 6^th Season last Saturday. That’s right, we totally rocked it! Besides the 13 vendors (including three brand new vendors!!) and our amazing and talented musicians, we welcomed a fresh-faced hot-food vendor, and an energetic new market manager. And, we hosted the Clatskanie 4-H Club and their petting zoo of lovable farm critters!
